An American writer in China

Larry Feign's articles and essays have appeared in numerous magazines and in his several books. He is a regular columnist for Culture Magazine, and recently wrote the pilot script for a new animated series.

His humorous non-fiction book How The Animals Do It was published in the United States and the United Kingdom, and was translated into several languages. It out-sold Madonna's simultaneously-released book of X-rated photos...um...in nearly every bookshop in Kowloon. His latest book is Hongkongitis, a collection of essays on Hong Kong and China topics. He is a recipient of a 2011 MacDowell Fellowship.

Larry lives in a small village on an island in the South China Sea, where he is working on two new books, except when interrupted by the occasional visit from a cobra or a baby python.
